GE Mebane holds customer day event

June 11, 2014 – On Tuesday, June 10, GE’s Industrial Solutions business celebrated local business collaboration with its customer, Clayton, N.C.-based PCX Corporation. The Customer Day, hosted by GE’s Power Equipment business at its Mebane manufacturing facility, highlighted GE’s successful relationship with PCX, also a local flagship business and employer.

The customer-focused event shared the fundamentals of that success with several hundred GE employees from Mebane and Power Equipment’s offices in nearby Cary, N.C. They were reminded of the importance of lead-times, delivering quality service and learning about the customer’s end users. Attendees heard the “voice-of-customer” directly from PCX, learning what can be improved to enhance their experience and how to apply this feedback in working with other customers.
