PCX Ships First of Several Energy Storage Systems to Aliso Canyon
October 2016 – PCX Corporation ships the first of several battery storage systems to support the Aliso Canyon energy crisis in Southern California. The battery storage system was designed and equipped with battery storage racks, requisite controls, fire suppression and sophisticated cooling to support several megawatts of energy storage. Each system is comprised of four (4) prefabricated sections measuring approximately 30 feet in length, 9 feet in width and 11 feet in height, and will undergo final assembly at the site. The prefabricated modular solution was chosen due its inherent advantage of fast deployment, as well as the standard and consistent quality associated with a ISO9001:2008 manufacturing environment.
